Which Christmas Movie Release is Best for your Family?

In a previous post by the StudentAccident Blog team, we discussed a Christmas movie day as a great gift and even better way to spend time with the family this holiday season.  Here are some new releases and information on them to help you decide which is best suited for your family and its demographics!

  1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Rated PG:13 for Violence, Profanity and a host of others, this film may not be one to take the children too.  It is however one of the higher rated films of the calendar year and seems to be a must see for those of age and mature enough to enjoy and appreciate the return of the classic film series!
  2. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip – Rated PG for light violence, this may be the popular choice for a family friendly film this holiday season.  A new spin on an animated classic is sure the make the kids laugh and keep the whole family entertained throughout the duration of the film.
  3. Daddy’s Home – This PG:13 comedy staring both Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg is sure to be the top comedy of the season.  The rating is likely a result of some inappropriate humor but is sure to be a good suggestion for older and more mature audiences.
